How much does and Inski Guitar cost?
M4 base price: $3000
M2 base price: $5000
M3 base price: $5500
Skull and Roses base price: $2500
HOWEVER: Base prices can be affected by customization requests and materials costs.
There are a few customizations available on the M4 model, but virtually unlimited available on the M2.
The truth is that we won’t know until completing the design plans for your instrument.
How long will my guitar take to be built?
Build times vary depending on many factors,
generally an M4 or Skull and Roses is in the 4-6 month range,
with an M2 or M3 in the 8-10 month rang.
What’s the difference between the M2 and the M4?
Both are tributes to the Languedoc G2, and for that reason they aesthetically appear similar.
The major difference is the body style. An M2 is made in the classic archtop hollowbody style of Languedoc and Benedetto by
steam bending the sides and using a seperate top and back. The M4 body is a strat sized body blank that I carve hollow, and cap with a top: the body blank serves as the back and sides.
What woods are used for construction? Can I get Koa like Trey’s?
Wisconsin figured maple is my absolute favorite wood to use, It’s beautiful and plentiful. There is a long list of useable hardwoods out there that’s possible.
Koa is a possibility, but is not always available and is cost prohibitive.
Where do you source your materials?
All wood that I use is CITES approved and purchased through legal markets. There is no over harvested or child harvested wood, allowed around here.
How many people work at Inski Guitars?
Believe it or not it’s just me. I personally complete every aspect of every build from picking wood to finishing
What kind of pickups does an Inski come with?
Inski Guitars is a licensed Seymour Duncan dealer, and I prefer their 59’s in my guitars.
However, every client is different and any electronic components you want are possible!
What is a build cycle?
Given the small amount of shop space I have, I build 3 guitars at a time. That means you may have to wait until I have room to start your build. First come, first serve.
